Specialist neurodivergence support
Divergence is a Waikato-based charitable company that specialises in neurodivergence. Our goal is to support neurodivergent people to make the most of their own unique thinking style and brain pattern to grow, thrive and celebrate neurodivergence. This is achieved through three services: psychology, social group support and training.

Divergence Psychology
We are a team of Hamilton-based, friendly, qualified psychologists who specialise in assessing, diagnosing and supporting people of all ages with neurodivergent thinking, particularly autism and ADHD.
Along with comprehensive assessments of autism and ADHD, we provide specialised psychology support services for individuals, families, schools and workplaces.
Our goal is to support neurodivergent people to make the most of their own unique thinking style and brain pattern to grow, thrive and celebrate neurodivergence.

Divergence Life
A new venture, expanding on our specialist support services for neurodivergence people and whānau. We work with existing providers of social activities to create dedicated groups where neurodivergent people can join in, build skills and belong.
We provide the screening, matching, preparation, training, support person and coordination needed to make those groups work well. This draws on our practical expertise in autism, ADHD, sensory needs, communication differences, executive function, masking, support planning, group participation and the design of environments that allow neurodivergent people to participate without having to constantly adapt themselves to neurotypical expectations.

Divergence Training
One-on-one and group training on neurodivergence for companies, medical professionals, teachers, trainers, whānau, coaches and other groups with an interest in enabling neurodivergent individuals to thrive.
Training is available at different levels, from introductory talks to in-depth explorations over multiple sessions.
We provide on-going online and in-person support tailored to your needs.
