Specialist neurodivergence support

Divergence is a Waikato-based charitable company that specialises in neurodivergence. Our goal is to support neurodivergent people to make the most of their own unique thinking style and brain pattern to grow, thrive and celebrate neurodivergence. This is achieved through three services: psychology, social group support and training.

We are a team of Hamilton-based, friendly, qualified psychologists who specialise in assessing, diagnosing and supporting people of all ages with neurodivergent thinking, particularly autism and ADHD.

Along with comprehensive assessments of autism and ADHD, we provide specialised psychology support services for individuals, families, schools and workplaces.

Our goal is to support neurodivergent people to make the most of their own unique thinking style and brain pattern to grow, thrive and celebrate neurodivergence.

Divergence Life supports neurodivergent people directly, and helps workplaces and community organisations to remove the barriers that make everyday life harder than it needs to be.

Our one-on-one coaching is practical and affirming, building from your priorities, your circumstances and the way your brain works.

In workplaces, we help to find unnecessary friction and adapt everyday practices to enable different thinkers to contribute effectively.

Our support for sport, arts, recreation and social activity providers helps more neurodivergent people to take part and belong.

One-on-one and group training on neurodivergence for companies, medical professionals, teachers, trainers, whānau, coaches and other groups with an interest in enabling neurodivergent individuals to thrive.

Training is available at different levels, from introductory talks to in-depth explorations over multiple sessions.

Mentoring and supervision support is also available for anyone providing support service to the neurodivergent community. We provide on-going online and in-person support tailored to your needs.
